Never stop learning

Never stop remembering.

Powerful leadership takeaways from two incidents that occurred in Pennsylvania—incidents that remind us of the importance of learning from the past, honoring those who lost their lives, and carrying those lessons forward.

A sincere thank you to Fire Marshal John Waters of the Lower Merion Township Fire Department for his presentation on the LODD attic fire involving Firefighter Sean Demuynck and to Fire Chief Kevin Dippolito for sharing his experience and insight of the Bristol Health & Rehab Center explosion.

In the fire service, we are always learning. We owe it to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to remember, learn, and continually improve so that we can better protect our members and our communities.
